Dr. Sanjay Mishra is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 30 years of expertise in biochemistry and biotechnology. Currently a Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Engineering, SR Institute of Management & Technology, Lucknow, Dr. Mishra has a rich history of contributions to teaching and research in India and abroad.

His research spans diverse fields, including cancer biology, food microbiology, immunology, enzymology, bioinformatics, and protein engineering. Dr. Mishra has supervised 11 Ph.D. scholars and numerous postgraduate and undergraduate students. He has authored over 100 research papers in reputed journals and contributed chapters to several academic books.

A recipient of multiple prestigious awards, including the Best Scientist Award (2022) and fellowships from esteemed societies, Dr. Mishra has also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Visiting Scientist in leading institutions in the USA and Japan.

With affiliations to over 50 international journals as an editor and reviewer, his academic leadership extends to roles as a member of editorial boards, boards of studies, and research panels. Dr. Mishra is also actively involved in capacity building, serving as a Master Trainer for the PMFME initiative in India.
